We started in 2021 with one goal. Give Okanagan growers, producers, and businesses a freight partner who actually shows up between the Valley and the Lower Mainland.
Our Story
Built in the Okanagan, for the Okanagan
Valley Fresh Express was founded in 2021 by a small group who grew up in the Okanagan. We watched the Valley feed the rest of the country and we watched how hard it was to find a freight partner who showed up on time and on temp.
From our Kelowna hub we run refrigerated, dry, and frozen lanes across the Valley and down to the Lower Mainland. One pallet of cherries on LTL or a full trailer of dairy, you get the same people on the phone and the same drivers looking after your product from dock to door.
We're small enough to know our customers by name, and serious enough to treat every load like it matters. Because to the grower who shipped it, it always does.

Why we started Valley Fresh
Our mission is short. Connect the Okanagan with the Lower Mainland. We built Valley Fresh Express in 2021 because the people and businesses here deserve freight service they can afford and count on. The Okanagan feeds a lot of this country, and we feel a responsibility to the growers and producers doing that work. Thanks for trusting us with your shipments.

How it works
What happens to your freight
From pickup to signature, here's what actually happens to your product.
Step 1
Pickup and pre-cool
Trailers show up pre-cooled to your spec. The driver probes the product at the dock and opens a digital chain-of-custody before the wheels turn.
Step 2
Transit Monitoring
Sensors log temperature every 60 seconds. GPS tracks the truck live. If a reading drifts, dispatch sees it before the driver does.
Step 3
Security & HOS
ELD-compliant drivers, tamper-evident seals, and geo-fenced routes. Cargo stays secure and the logs stay clean from pickup to drop.
Step 4
Verified Delivery
Final temperature reading, photos at the dock, signature, and the full temperature log emailed out. No guesswork, no ‘we’ll get back to you’.
